Lemon Sugar Scrub

We needed a gift for the kids teachers and we are on a budget. A tight budget at that. We decided making something would be nice, but what to make? I saw this at Under the Table and Dreaming blog and knew we had to do it.

Just mix together two and a half cups of sugar, one cup of olive oil, and four tablespoons of lemon juice. That's it! That will fill a 12 oz mason jar but we did two 6 oz ones instead.

Lucas made some for his two teachers...

Blake made some for his three teachers and his bus driver as well...

Lemon Sugar Scrub! Easy as pie. It works wonders too. I made a batch for myself as well. We had enough left when we were done making it to wash our hands with it and they were so soft!

I just tied some twine around the lid and we cut out our own tags with our "fancy" scissors. Added a Merry Christmas Stamp and we labeled the top of the lids using white cardstock and mod podge.

I just know this would be wonderful in the dead of winter. I love stuff that smells like Summer when I am shivering! I am whipping this up in the morning. Thank you for sharing!
