Bits & Pieces

I'm back! I feel like I have not blogged in forever. Wait, I haven't. Our old computer completely crashed on us and I had to decide on a new one and order it and all that good stuff. It arrived today and I couldn't be happier with it so far. Time will tell. If you have any experience with a Gateway let me know. This is my first!

Now for the pics (things that have gone on since the computer crash of 2012):

1-4: Paisley playing in the yard. She loves balls, refuses to keep her pretty bows in her hair, and pushes her car now more than she rides in it.

5: After MUCH research and searching for deals I joined the mini van club! Couldn't be happier and I absolutely love my Honda Odyssey. Best. Car. Ever. This is further proof that you should never say never. ;)

6: Lucas had his banquet for fall baseball. It was very low key and nice. We took them to McDonald's (YAY- HA!) and let them wear themselves out.

7-9: Lucas had a Veteran's Day program at his school. They asked each family if there were any Veteran's that they would like honored. Of course we signed my Grampy up. They were all so impressed that he still fit into his uniform. Of course I got the most precious pictures of him and Lucas!

Baseball Has Returned!

It's baseball time again around these parts. We have been practicing for about a month now and we had our first games last night. Lucas played at six and Blake played at eight. Makes for a long night at the ball field with three kids.

 Lucas right before his game. He is so much more willing to pose for me than Blake. I think I get on Blake's nerves now with my camera.

 See what I mean? This was all I got. I have to say, he looks so handsome in his uniform!

 My little center fielder! Both boys are playing center field this year. Lucas is out there in his own world. He loves baseball and going to games and practices, but he just doesn't have the best attention span yet. He is still little.

 Blake watching his little brother play. He has never played outfield before and at first was a little disappointed to be out there. I think he learned rather quickly that they get more action than anyone. Especially in the age group he is now in. He has an amazing arm. Seriously, the kid can throw. Plus he is fast.

 I got several pictures of Lucas' game and not that many of Blakes. They have two months of games so his time will come. I had a lot of help with the baby during Lucas' game.

 During bubba's game he watched Monster Jam on my phone. It didn't last long and he was running around with all of the other siblings!

This little princess was a trooper. She was there for a little over four hours straight and two and a half hours past her bed time!

I'm looking forward to more games. I just love baseball. Now I have both boys screaming they want to play football next fall. WHAT??! Their dad's day has officially been made!

Union Bulldawgs Team Party and Banquet

Blake's team had their end of the season party and banquet this past weekend. It was at a local place called Stars and Strikes.

We bowled. It was Lucas' first time and he got a strike AND a spare.

Blake loved it. All in all it was a wonderful day! The kids had a blast. Now us parents have a break for the summer. Baseball and school ended on the same weekend. Time to take it easy for a few months...

Union Ducks Team Party and Banquet

The Union Ducks wrapped up their first tiny tots season last weekend! Following the final game, the boys had a banquet at Jump 4 Joey's!

They each received a bucket that included: a medallion, a photo book of the team throughout the season, and a sucker!

I hope these kids can continue to play together. They all got along so well, which can be rare at this young age.

Such a proud moment. This made his day! Can't wait for fall ball...

(Oh wait, yes I can. I'll be doing two baseball teams with a newborn baby. Awesome.)

Go Bulldawgs!

The Union Bulldawgs had their second game of the season yesterday. I would have had pics from the first game, but this Saturday both kids had games at the same time at two different fields and amidst the rush I forgot my camera. The game is always started by a prayer led by one of the assistant coaches.

I watch as much as I can while helping my sister-in-law keep an eye on these two. They play their hearts out.

He enjoys doing this more than anything. I am so glad that he is able to coach them. He helps Lucas' team whenever he can, but they are so little and practice so early it is hard for him to get off and make it there in time.

My sweet boy had his first baseball game of 2011 on Saturday!

Hi mommy! He kept looking up at me and waving. He was so proud of himself.

I know he is only three, but I have to say that this kid is so much better than he was when he first started last fall. He loves it now too. Batting is his favorite, along with every other kid.
