Blake got saved.

Well, today was a wonderful day!

Cagney took the boys to church this morning, while I had to set up for a baby shower for one of my friends. Blake started in on Cagney yesterday about going (we haven't been in a few weeks). This morning he was up bright and early and ready to go. Cagney decided to just take the boys on his own. I hated to not go.

I was setting up around one o'clock when my phone rang. It was Cagney and he informed me that Blake had asked to go into regular service with him instead of children's church, which is strange because he loves it in there. He said when the invitation was given that Blake took off. Didn't even ask Cagney to go with him. Just took of by himself. It's like he woke up with intentions this morning and it makes me so proud!

He has asked some questions the last two weeks since he went to church with Cagney's Mawmaw. I really could not be prouder of Blake. He is growing up so fast.

How to enjoy a cupcake...

Now, if you're wondering why it always looks like I have more pictures of Lucas than Blake. This is why:

Because the best I can get 90 percent of the time is a paper towel over the face or a fake smirk. HA!

Go Bulldawgs!

The Union Bulldawgs had their second game of the season yesterday. I would have had pics from the first game, but this Saturday both kids had games at the same time at two different fields and amidst the rush I forgot my camera. The game is always started by a prayer led by one of the assistant coaches.
I watch as much as I can while helping my sister-in-law keep an eye on these two. They play their hearts out.
A very rare moment of Lucas actually watching the game...

Father-Son moment. Precious.
He enjoys doing this more than anything. I am so glad that he is able to coach them. He helps Lucas' team whenever he can, but they are so little and practice so early it is hard for him to get off and make it there in time.

The Haircut

This is what Lucas' hair looked like on Saturday.
This happened on Sunday.
Which resulted in this...
He looks like this today.
Part of me is sad we cut it, but it has been in the 70's and 80's here and he was already getting hot. Especially with his baseball hat on which he loves to wear.

We went to the playground with a friend this morning. Lucas and her kids get along so well. He loves to play with them.
Lucas and his buddy Tripp. That's what they call eachother. I don't know, they're goof balls. Anna Beth was there too but when I asked her to be in the picture she just said, "no thanks". HA!After the park we went to register my ALMOST four-year-old baby boy for pre-k. This resulted in the grin you see above, while mommy was in the front seat crying. Yes, I cried hard for about 5 good minutes. I'm blaming it on the hormones. It is just s hard for me to fathom that my sweet baby I have been home with for four years is big enough for school. It's hard to imagine him not being my baby anymore. And it breaks my heart. Tomorrow he will be driving away for college... okay, I'm gonna go cry some more. Then to Blake's game tonight!

Typical Saturday Evening... well, my favorite kind...

...with a Good Morning Lucas shot thrown in! Don't you love the "do"?
Poor Blake is so bony. I keep telling him he will hit a growth spurt soon. He left right after this and went to Cag's grandparents for the night. He was excited!
This is daddy's helper. He is at the age where he likes to help ALL the time. Even if I am cleaning bathrooms. I love it. I know he will soon outgrow it.

We bought some flowers at Home Depot. Cag planted them for me this morning and they look pretty. Last night he ut the grass and serviced his mower. His prized posession. It was so warm here yesterday, like 82 degrees. I love it. But it is cooler again today. I'm thinking sixties.
GO DAWGS!!

We also had two ball games yesterday. Lucas had one at 12 and Blake had one at 12:30. Wouldn't you know they were at different fields? We had to slpit up for the first time ever. My Grammy and Grampy came to Lucas' game which he LOVED!! He is so excited to go stay with them in May when Cag and I head to the Buffett concert. Can I say I am just as excited for that day?? WOOHOO!!

I would have had pics of the games but I forgot BOTH of my cameras! Go figure!
My sweet boy playing outside. We are enjoying the first official day of Spring now. How about you?

Go Ducks!

My sweet boy had his first baseball game of 2011 on Saturday!
Warming up with daddy.
Hi mommy! He kept looking up at me and waving. He was so proud of himself.
I know he is only three, but I have to say that this kid is so much better than he was when he first started last fall. He loves it now too. Batting is his favorite, along with every other kid.

Daddy kept having to adjust his helmet.
Run, Lucas, Run!!
I love how he is holding up a number one with his hands!! He was so excited.
GO DUCKS!

It's a Girl!

Last night my mom and dad, mother-in-law, sister, Cagney and I went to have a gender ultrasound done. I am way to impatient to wait until 20 weeks at the doctors office. The name of the place is called Peek-a-Belly, isn't that precious? They specialize in gender prediction and 3D/4D ultrasounds.

They gave us a ton of pictures on a CD from the session. I will be adding more of course. They gave us one 3D picture which was too sweet!

Then for the money shot:

I knew what to look for in a boy. When I had my ultrasounds with Lucas it was obvious he was a boy. The tech froze the screen on this picture and just looked at me. I asked her if I could guess. She said sure. I asked hopefully, "is it a girl?" I mean when she froze that screen I knew what to look for and there was nothing there!! She replied, "Yep."

Then I cried for about 5 minutes. We went straight to Babies R Us and of course got up this morning to do even more shopping. I think my sister might provide her entire wardrobe if she isn't careful!!

We couldn't be more excited in anticipating the arrival of Paisley Nicole!
