Cabinet Makeover

This cabinet was made by my papa probably about 25 years ago. He made it for my mom, and made an identical one for my nanny (which she still has sitting in her kitchen). When I realized my mom's old one was sitting in their basement, I decided I wanted to bring it home with me.
The finished product!!!

I just painted it and added new knobs and I love it. The fact that my papa made it makes it all the better and I bet this is one thing we will keep forever!

Lucas' First Tiny Tots Game

My baby boy started baseball about a month ago, and this past Saturday he had his very first game ever! They are a 3 and 4 year old tiny tots team and their name is The Little Rascals! I love it!
The whole team! Aren't they precious?
I am partial to number 8! HA!
"Trying" to hit the ball. He has this thing where he swings... and stops right before he gets to the ball. Then he taps it. HA! I like this pic because it looks like he is really hitting it, when in reality, it just fell on top of home plate! Bless his heart. He will get it, he is only 3!
To be honest, this is the only picture that he wasn't playing in the dirt when he had to stand in one spot....
Base running! It was so entertaining, he would run to first, then pitcher's mound. Then second, then pitcher's mound. Then third, then pitcher's mound. Bless him! This age is so awesome to watch!
Good game guys!
You know I will have tons more pics up soon!

God Bless!

GO DAWGS

It's the first official game of the season, and down south we love us some college football, especially the Dawgs! My husband lives for this time of year. We all love it and with him having a "man cave" now, I decided I had to decorate it in University of Georgia: what else? The man bleeds black and red.

The sports stores in the mall can be really expensive, so I made him some prints for one of his walls. Here they are:

I took two 16x20 canvases and some red and black paint that I had on hand, printed out the large letters and cut them out (very carefully, I don't have any vinyl). Then I sprayed a little stencil adhesive on the backs and arranged the letters how I wanted them. I painted over them and peeled off the letters, and VOILA!

Sorry for the poor quality, camera is dead and I took it with my cell phone.

Have a blessed day!
