Well, my "baby" is almost 3 and a half and he started tee ball Monday. Jumped right into it too. None of this, "mommy I don't wanna go" stuff for him. My kids are so not shy. He had a blast though and seems to love it so far, which is great for me because I am almost finished with his baseball themed "big boy" room! The Little Rascals. Is their team name not adorable? They are all 3 and 4 year olds, I believe Lucas is one of the youngest ones.
My little first baseman. Well, we will see... he has a short attention span so far. lol
Love this!
So, he either hit the tee, or missed the ball completely. Looks like daddy will have to put in some practice time, I am sure he will get the hang of it though :)
Good try buddy! hehe
This about sums up what he did during practice! Love it!

Compostion Makeover
This Thursday evening a group of friends and I started a bible study. We loved it and I am so excited to be a part of something so wonderful. I already cannot wait til next week.
I like to take notes, always have. I always have about 10 pens in my purse. I try and be very organized and I like to have something to look back to for future reference. I knew I was going to need a notebook for bible study, but did not want to pay $20 for the super cute ones in boutiques.
I purchased some composition notebooks from Office Max 2 weeks ago. They had them for 5 cent apiece! That's right: a nickel! They were just so plain and boring. So I decided to give them a makeover. This is what they started out like.
I transformed them into these.
All you need is some scrapbook paper, printer paper, modpodge, exacto knife, and some pretty flowers.
Just glue the paper to the notebook however you like it, and used the exacto knife to trim the edges. Then add a favorite verse, or quote, even a picture! The flowers were added just for that extra OOMPH! :)
These would work for so many things: journals, school subjects, idea books.... the possibilities are endless!
God Bless,
Nicole

Mission Playroom Organization: Accomplished
Remember when I put the really embarrassing picture of how our playroom looked on here? Oh it was bad. Let me refresh your memory:Ahhh, I cannot even bare to look.
Well we worked very hard to get rid of some of the mess, and organize the rest. Here is how we did:These tubs were 2/$10 at Sam's Club. They are a flexible rubber kind of tub, so no accidents (hopefully).I still have to pick out some fabric to make a curtain for the room. I also plan to paint that table top with chalkboard paint.See the table top? Ew. Painting asap. The layout is much better.
My husband said that this winter he would build some shelves in the closet for me. As well as some in my office closet. Maybe he will not forget, oh, that's right I will have to keep reminding him. hehe
Not too shabby. The kids and I are doing some art projects for the walls and we will be finished.
Thanks for stopping by!
