Happy (late) Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

Valentines Day this year was beautiful. The weather was so nice we played outside all day. Lucas had the cutest shirt so I had to get a couple of pictures of him in it. Of course.

I know he is mine and I am partial, but this is totally a kid I would see in public and rave over. Wait, did I really just say that??! hahaha

My sweet hubby let me get a new camera for my birthday and Valentines. I love it. It is my first ever slr and I am amazed at how good pictures are turning out. I hope to learn to be really good at it. I have been begging for one since I was pregnant with Lucas.

We are headed back out since the weather is supposed to be beautiful every day this week! Maybe soon we can pen the pool?? (wishful thinking)...

Ten Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 10 weeks
Size of baby: Baby Chappell is the size of a prune

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 5 lbs, but sickness is subsiding...

Maternity Clothes: None yet. Hopefully not for a little while...

Gender: Hope to find out in mid-March

Movement: Too early

Sleep: I have gotten some energy back, but when I lay down at night I sleep very soundly.

What I miss: Being able to use the bathroom regularly. Yes, I said it!

Cravings: Today I have been noticeably hungrier, but not starving. I think I just gained my appetite back.

Symptoms: Constipation.

Best Moment this week: Getting a little energy back...

White Christmas

We had a white Christmas in 2010! So beautiful.

Here's hoping we get another one next year. Of course after we have plenty of sunshine and warm weather for a while. I mean, you can only handle so much cold... :)

Opening Christmas Gifts!

These are so late, but I guess my first trimester has made me so out of it that I forgot about blogging. Well maybe I didn't forget, but I have been pretty lazy the last several week. Exhaustion would be a good way to put it. Anyway, I wanted to add some pics of the kids and their Christmas.

Monster Jam!! Those trucks are this kids obsession and he watches at least part of this every single day. Thanks Nana and PawPaw.

Santa came!! How exciting!

We made cookies for Santa and he ate them all. Must have been yummy...

Check it out mom! Would you believe we had to wake him up? He wanted no part of getting out of bed either. He is truly my child.

Probably his favorite gift form Santa. He loves his scooter. It was snowing on Christmas so he had to ride it in the kitchen. He is such a safety nut, had to put that helmet on!

Blake stayed with his mom this Christmas Eve, so he didn't get home til around 12 to see what he got. He was thrilled though!

Gift from mom and dad. Tickets to go to Monster Jam on February 12th! Complete with pit passes. I think Lucas may pass out when he meets Grave Digger.

Next year at Christmas we will have three kiddies to buy for. Guess I should start saving now...
