Happy Father's Day 2011

Happy Father's Day to the wonderful and caring man I get to call my husband!

He is almost a daddy of three and I could not have picked a better man to be the father of my children. He is truly amazing in every way and I am so thankful every day that we have him. He does so much for us and we appreciate him ten times more then he will ever realize. I love you so much Cagney!

Blake has always been a daddy's boy.

Lucas will tell you that this is his hero!

God blessed me more than ever when he brought you into my life.

In two months we will add a little girl into the mix and I just know he will be amazing with her as well. No doubt in my mind. He is going to be wrapped.

I also want to thank MY daddy for always being there for me. He has been all of my life. I love you daddy, more than you know!

Thank you for being such an amazing PawPaw to my boys.

I am so lucky to have these two men in my life.

Nicole

Road trip with small kids...

We are on our way home from vacation as we speak. Plenty of posts about that to follow. Lucas just sang us a song and I wanted to share it (if for nothing more than my personal enjoyment) :

Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the road
Eat spaghetti, eat spaghetti
Runga Dunga do....

You're welcome.

Ha!

Union Bulldawgs Team Party and Banquet

Blake's team had their end of the season party and banquet this past weekend. It was at a local place called Stars and Strikes.

The team with their trophies (we were missing three players).

These boys are crazy at this age. No, seriously. HA!

We bowled. It was Lucas' first time and he got a strike AND a spare.

Blake loved it. All in all it was a wonderful day! The kids had a blast. Now us parents have a break for the summer. Baseball and school ended on the same weekend. Time to take it easy for a few months...

Union Ducks Team Party and Banquet

The Union Ducks wrapped up their first tiny tots season last weekend! Following the final game, the boys had a banquet at Jump 4 Joey's!

They each received a bucket that included: a medallion, a photo book of the team throughout the season, and a sucker!

Waiting patiently for a cupcake.

I hope these kids can continue to play together. They all got along so well, which can be rare at this young age.

Receiving his trophy from his coach.

Such a proud moment. This made his day! Can't wait for fall ball...

(Oh wait, yes I can. I'll be doing two baseball teams with a newborn baby. Awesome.)

Memorial Day 2011

Our actual Memorial Day was spent like this: Lucas and I indoors due to a chicken pox outbreak and Cag went in to work (he has the 4th off though, YES)!

The day BEFORE Memorial Day was fun though. Had some of the hub's family over to swim and eat some good food.

Lucas did this all day long:

We had plenty of this:

The kids did more than enough of this:

Big Mama even came by for a visit:

Great day!

Mother's Day 2011

Mother's Day 2011 was eventful. We started off with the early service at church, followed by lunch with my mother-in-law. Afterward, we went to the lake at my grandparents house. My dad took his boat, as did my Grampy and we just rode around for a while. So nice to feel the breeze.
This little man told me Happy Mother's Day everyday that week. He was excited.
My wonderful hubby playing captain. He did so good this year. He got me a new microwave. This may sound crazy, but it is exactly what I wanted! I think we were the only people we knew that did not have a vent hood microwave. I am loving the extra counter space, that's for sure!

He melts my heart.
Grampy took his boat out too.
Dad and Scott took Lucas for a spin on Scott's boat. He wasn't a fan of the speed. Must have been a little much for him.

Earlier today, I gave Lucas a hug and my earring scratched his cheek. He said "OW"! I asked what happened and he replied, "your necklace scratched me". I told him I was not wearing a necklace and he said "No mommy, your ear necklaces". Love that kid!
