Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving was a huge blessing this year as it is every year. We got to see many family and friends that we love dearly. I did not take very many pictures at the lunch or dinner we went to, but I did manage to snap some of the kiddos in all of their preciousness!

I did my best to snap some pics of my littles running around. Paisley is super fast. Seriously.

It is very hard to photograph Lucas without Perry and Paisley without a cup.

I ordered her outfit from a sweet smocked boutique on facebook.

My handsome man in his new "Thanksgiving" shirt. I got both of the boys some shirts from Crazy 8. They just added one to our mall not that long ago and I like it pretty good.. It is kind of a hit or miss for me honestly. We went in at midnight and I did not see a thing? That's okay because Amanda and I cleaned out Gap Kids. My new obsession for little clothes.

 Such a little busy body!

I did my best to snap a decent pic of all three kids. I got two that I consider to be good. You can see them below:

I am still working hard to figure out my camera settings. I am pretty proud of myself considering that I have just started shooting without it being in auto mode.

I have to keep it real though. I got three decent pictures and fifty or so like this:

I am most thankful for these babies. They make my life.

Paisley has been talking up a storm lately. Her newest words are: baby, puppy, Sheshee (Chelsea- my sister), and kitty cat (or "kikat). In the photo above she is saying, "See it? See?" She constantly has that little finger pointed and repeats those words nonstop. Every time I try to video her she shuts up immediately? Maybe soon...

This last picture is just because I love her curls so much!

Of course as soon as the family festivities were over we headed to shop til we dropped!

We hit up Target first. I didn't have anything that I really wanted to get except some board games (Scrabble anyone?) and an $8 waffle iron. I did score the movie Brave for $10 and some precious tutus for Paisley for $3 each. Amanda and I always go together. I guess we mainly went just because it is tradition... :)

Had to make a quick pit stop before heading to Sears...

... where we totally checked out the Kardashian Kollection. Don't judge!

This was a tiny fraction of the crowd waiting for them to open the door to the mall at midnight. Yes- a stampede did happen. I lived through it and have tons of sweet kiddie clothes to prove it!

I am off to catch up on the dvr with my husband. We are headed to visit Santa tomorrow afternoon after the Georgia- Georgia Tech game. Pics to follow!

Happy Thanksgiving 2011

I'm gonna start it off right with the cutest turkey butt you've ever seen!

Lucas made a Thanksgiving story at school. They sent all of this home in an envelope titled "Lucas' Thanksgiving Story". It was too cute to not hang on the door to our pantry.

This shirt suits her. That is for sure.

My sweet babies on Thanksgiving. We only had two places to go this year which is very out of the ordinary for us. We usually have at least four.

I forgot my camera when we were out and about. I did manage to snap a few of my babies though right before I headed out to do some Black Friday shopping. Got everything on my list. I am almost done and so happy.

My sweet girl had a wonderful first Thanksgiving. I know next year will be just as great. We have so much to be thankful for.

Lucas' Thanksgiving Party!

Lucas had a Thanksgiving Family Feast at school. The kids sang some cute little songs to us in the sanctuary. It was precious. Cagney was able to leave work and come. That made Lucas' day. He waved the entire performance.

My camera wasn't doing such a great job taking pictures during their performance.

Paisley was showing her support for her bog brother. Dressed in her Gobble Gobble outfit.

They had a whole meal for us. Lucas didn't want to eat though, he was too excited with everything else going on.

They made the cutest little place mats. Each kid put on theirs what they were thankful for. Lucas said: Mama, Daddy, Blake, Paisley, and Cat. Cat?? The one we DON'T have. LOL he cracks me up!! :)

Here is a video I made of Lucas singing his Thanksgiving songs he heard at school. We took video of the performance, but you can understand this much better:

It's Impossible to get a two month old's handprint...

So she made a foot print turkey instead. Lucas made a hand print turkey. H was quick to critisize the fact that we still had ghosts on the fridge. So we had to make something a little more appropriate.

When I was making lunch, Lucas kept asking me how to spell names. When I was done I realized this is what he had done to the bottom of the pantry door. Precious.

He also asked me to "spice" his hair this morning. I tried to tell him it was called "spiking" your hair and I found out I was wrong. He said all the girls at school loved his spicy hair today.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2010

This Thanksgiving was wonderful as usual. Busy as ever. We had three places to go this year. First stop was my nannys, which was the only place I took the camera out of the car even. Bad mama, I know. It was a busy day. Above is my daddy, nanny, and my Uncle Rog- WAIT! I mean Uncle Stacey. (inside joke) :)
Daddy, Nanny, PawPaw, and Uncle Stacey
Me with my Nanny and PawPaw
My PawPaw, Mom, Nanny, and Daddy
Me and my little familia with my Nanny and PawPaw
My Nanny and PawPaw with my two cousins, Morgan and Jordan, and their dad, my Uncle Stacey.

Wonderful Thanksgiving! That night? I never went to bed. My sister and I hit up WalMart around 10 to get some of the 12:01 deals. Worth it because I finished Lucas completely. Blake? Still working on him. We stood in line outside Target from about 1:30, til they opened at 4. My mom, Denise, Courtnee, and BFF Amanda met us there. Luckily we did NOT get cussed out when they entered the line. I got everything I went in for! Scored a dual screen DVD player for the car for 85 bucks! Guess which kids will be opening this early since we leave for Gatlinburg on the 9th? MINE! I also scored some other things, but shouldn't say just now since certain people read this blog. Not a lot of people, but SOME do. Shocker! :)

(It's going to drive that few of you crazy isn't it??) NA NA NA BOO BOO!

I came home Saturday morning after breakfast at iHop and crashed around 8 am! Thanks to my dad and wonderful father-in-law for taking one kid each so I could sleep til about 2 o'clock!

The next day we put up the Christmas decor. The boys handled the outdoors, while I put everything up inside. They came in that afternoon so we could all decorate the tree.

Blake pretty much did this the entire time. Glory had six puppies and they are 5 weeks now, so he loves to play with them. This is the sweetest pic.
"I dedicate this house to the Chappell Family Christmas."
Looking good there Sparky! (Those of you close to me will totally realize how appropriate that was! HAHA!)
I just wanted a pic of him in his Carhartts. Because it's cute. And he is the cutest Stud muffin on the planet. True story...
He made me a nervous wreck.
Welp, Sunday, Cag and Luke played outside and I watched a lot of FA LA LA LA Lifetime. I will post some pics of the inside later. :)
